WELCOME TO SANREMO, the flowers’ city
The city of Sanremo is scattered within a cove overlooking the Ligurian Sea and sheltered by the mountains, so it has a good location with a mild and temperate climate makes it an ideal destination for summer or winter holidays.
Among the streets of the centre we can find, combined with each other in the buildings that host hotels, guest houses and shops, numerous architectural styles that date back to different historical periods and the international luxury that attracts tourists from all over the world making the town a perfect combination of history and glamor.
Famous for numerous international events, it is home to the famous Italian Song Festival, during which the streets of the city are transformed into itinerant stages that host the main exponents of the musical field and promote emerging young people who come from all over the world to have the opportunity to be known.
But Sanremo is not only the Festival, among the historical events to remember the first is certainly the Rallye of historic cars, followed by the very classic spring or the Milan-Sanremo, and to name just another of the countless events we can also remember the departure of the Rolex Giraglia regatta ending in Saint-Tropez.
The pride of the Ligurian village is the brand new Cycle Path, built on the former railway track, which runs along the Ligurian Sea and the center with its shopping streets and hotels.
In its path of about 24 km it crosses 8 Ligurian villages: Ospedaletti-Sanremo-Arma di Taggia-Riva Ligure-Santo Stefano al Mare-Cipressa-Costarainera-San Lorenzo.
Sanremasca gastronomy is a simple cuisine, sometimes poor, with 0 km ingredients that become the protagonists of tasty and satisfying dishes.
The cuisine of the restaurants in Sanremo is strongly based on the richness of the Ligurian Sea fish, the small fishing boats of Sanremo every day supply the restaurants of the port with the precious red shrimps of Sanremo and the most popular fish of the Ligurian Sea: sea bass, sea bream, gurnard etc.

- Ligurian fish, which is prepared stewed with pine nuts, olive oil, Taggiasca olives, rosemary and with potatoes or, in season, with fresh artichokes.
- Brandacujun, a typical dish of the Sanremasca tradition cooked with mantecat stockfish with potatoes, garlic, Taggiasca olive oil
- Sardenaira, the ancient pizza made in Sanremo, with tomato sauce, capers and anchovies
